Thinking about returning to Ireland for work?
11th October 2016
With the employment market in Ireland growing again – recent data from Eurostat shows it is currently one of the strongest in Europe – it’s no surprise that interest in returning home is rising among Irish people living abroad.
Although the main reason so many emigrants are considering a move home is due to the country’s economic recovery, Brexit will undoubtedly also play a big part in rising numbers coming back to live and work in Ireland.
In the last four years, unemployment has almost halved to the lowest rate since the crash, with thousands of jobs being created nationwide. There are more opportunities for returning emigrants now than there have been for years, making it a really good time to make the move home – whatever you’re reason for leaving, or however long ago you left.
