Our partner is a large FMCG company based in north Dublin employing over 600 people and with an annual turnover over of 450 million. The company are looking appoint a Field Sales developer to cover Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, West Dublin to work representing a major multinational food brand.


Reporting to the Team Leader, the Field Sales Developer will be responsible for driving sales, raising the awareness and heightening the profile of the client’s brands. This is a field based position.



Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain and grow Client distribution levels / displays and availability within specified outlets as detailed on your journey schedule in line with the outlets agreed policy and by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions;
  • To adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan accordingly;
  • Monitor product availability and resolve any issues
  • To understand and identify the needs of the customer;
  • To communicate effectively both in-store and with colleagues including feedback;
  • To maintain all company standards always;
  • To follow the agreed call sequence and period activity brief;
  • To recognise objectives and to tailor activities in store to achieve these objectives;
  • Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets
  • To plan and organise time effectively;
  • To develop a plan to achieve team targets and KPIs in conjunction with team leader and sales manager;
  • To generate current ideas and ways of working;
  • To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers;
  • To ensure always that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks;
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.

·         A good understanding of food retail sector and a keen interest in consumer activities

·         Must have energy and enthusiasm

·         Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

·         Handy with their hands (Drills and tools used)
